Headline: California International Online School Launches Afghanistan Cohort for American English and Civic Learning
California International Online School today announced the Afghanistan Cohort, a dedicated online program for students in Afghanistan focused on American English, democracy, and other transformative areas of knowledge. The initiative aims to expand access to consistent, high-quality instruction for learners who rely on remote education.
“The Afghanistan Cohort reflects our commitment to delivering rigorous American English education alongside foundational civic concepts,” said Ioan Elvis Sersea, M.A., M.A.T., the school’s Head of School. “Our goal is to equip students with language skills and practical knowledge they can use in their communities and future studies.”
The school said the program will provide structured coursework, teacher interaction, and clear learning outcomes. “Students learn best when expectations are transparent and support is reliable,” a program coordinator said. “This cohort model helps us align instruction and feedback across time zones.”
Enrollment information and program details are available through the school’s website. The school stated that the cohort will accept a limited number of students to maintain instructional quality.
